Bought a wheel about a week ago for upcoming release of forza 3 so of course i had to make a stand for it.

Forgot to take pics at the beginning so I will start at first test fit:

Stand feels great, I built to same specs as my truck as far as wheel height and pedal location so its really comfy and easy to adjust to. Everything is extremely solid feeling and stable yet can be removed from the stand in about 30 secs.

Now the wait till Forza 3......

looks nice, and as far as racing games go its not like the clutch ever worked as it should anyway.

You haven't played Forza 3 yet then. They've added the clutch and it does work like it should. Its a pain to get used to though. I might end up turning it off when I get the game.

yeah you just justified my point. Its like the ****ing parking brake in Gran Turismo and makes the car flip out.

i was curious, I spent some time doing 1 race with 1 car to raise 1,000,000 points or money with out cheating in about 20 minutes. I got bored sometimes.

For the vast majority of games, this is true. So why did you bring up the hand brake?

They added the clutch feature just for the fanatec wheel. It features a clutch with 6 speed shifter......its also costs $499.99 while the xbox one is $99 .....but I got it for $50, best buy reward zone FTW

some of the newer NFS games had a clutch option, but i think you could still shift without using it.

You can shift in Forza 3 without it, but you grind the gears and will damage your tranny.

No I didn't. The clutch works perfect. Its just weird getting used to using the clutch. Its great to be able to heel-toe and will be great for the drifters in the game. If you downshift without heel-toeing its gonna throw off the balance of the car coming into a turn. I'm not sure if my Forza league is going to force using the clutch or not. If they don't force it, I probably won't use it unless I get proficient with it.
