Yes it is aluminum hardline. The fittings are not aluminum though.

it's about time someone around here gets a hot gun to gawk about

Hope you got the barrel with widgets.
The non pump version is still on my list of "guns i need to own atleast once"

Yup, .685, with widgits. I won't be able to play until tomorrow, but right now, as it came out of the box, the pump stroke is smooth. It's a little stiff, but that is fairly common out of the box. It's by no means bad, it just needs breaking in. It's actually a lot smaller (and lighter) than I was expecting. From everyone talking about them before I got mine, I was expecting a boat anchor. It's actually a great weight for me, and I like the way it balances and "points" with the short barrel.
If anyone is free tomorrow, I'll be at the pump game at OA Rosedale, you can come and ogle it, maybe even shoot it if I like you, lol.

This is what happens when I stay away from the game for too long. What kinda cocker is that?!
10-20-2009, 06:55 PM
isnt that a Palmer?
10-20-2009, 07:27 PM
It's a Palmer's Pursuit Pyre... :foreheadslap:
10-21-2009, 02:56 PM
Correct! It is a Pyre, and it will never leave my hands. I really need more time with it to get used to the differences in feel and everything, especially since I was playing well below my normal low level of skill when I went out.

Always wanted to try one of these. Never even seen a Pyre in person though. Still hoping to get my self a Superstocker some day.
