Well, I am sure that many of you remember a thread awhile back about me selling off a piece of my heart.

http://www.spyder.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=11227&highlight=Iroc

Well I am here today to tell you that through the magic of recession I was able to purchase the car back for a good bit less than what I sold it for. He took great care of it, it still needs a new top, but that is certainly something that is do-able. It came back with 2 trophies and a medal, all Chevy inspired shows.

Best in show, best 80's sports car, and the medal is from DEI commemorating an accurate restoration.

I only had time to snap 1 new photo because it started pouring as soon as I got home.

I must say, very nice car. Being a Earnhardt fan, what makes it a Dale Earnhardt edition. Not doubting it is what you say it is, im just curios.

Congrats Barron. That is some luck you have considering the rarity of the vehicle.

The hood is not vented, but it is ducted, forced air through the front rather than vents on the hood, stock engine is a 350 HO with race inspired parts from edelbrock and other aftermarket companies rather than a 305HO or a standard 350, the grill is all one piece and ducted rather than 2 pieces with fog lights in the middle of it, the lines are slightly different although negligible to most, the convertible top. And the VIN :p

Personally I hate nascar but you cant go wrong with a car inspired by it. (unless we are talking monte carlo and taurus)

And Chris, line it up my friend, and then you can talk.

Meh, I bet the Jetta could take it.

looks great but since it's not raining why is the top still up?

TheRedBarron

The top is very rarely down. Only when the girls want to go for a ride in the 'vertible.

Hopps, I'm sure the Jetta could beat it too.

Sure thing, but the race better involve doing this:

because going straight is dumb.

Sure lets go to Daytona. I can do left hand turns around you all day.

But if you want to even things out a bit I will bring the M5 just for kicks.

What kind of power are you putting to the ground Baron?

463 horsepower and 486 ft/lbs of torque On a Edelbrock 350 v8. It has enough power to put you back in your seat.

Nice numbers. What's the power to weight?

TheRedBarron

To be honest, I do not know how much the car weighs any more.
