freak barrel not fitting Mr2

To answer your question, yes, they are spyder threads. The problem is the barrel shroud [i guess thats what it is]. The barrel back is too large to fit in it, so i took it out. question:
Was this piece important in anyway?

also, after i hook up the c02 and shoot i can hear it leaking out the barrel.

Your links do not work. The marker should be fine without the shroud. If you would like to have the Freak back and shroud on the marker at the same time, you will have to have the interior of the shroud milled out to a little bigger than the barrel's OD (outside diameter) at it's widest point.

Oil your marker if it still leaks out the barrel change your cup seal. Chances are if you put a few drops of oil on it it will be fine.

I would just mill the backs of the barrel. Thats what I do, im not sure the shroud has much that you could take off its pretty thin.

Mill a Freak back? That'd kill what resale value it has.

Then dont resell it! or better yet sell it to another MR2 user and charge extra for a kit that fits :p
