So there is a black Imagine without its charger at the pawn shop, looks clean and not beat up.asking 45 dollars for it. just marker, no hopper, no tank. E-trigger does work as the 9v had some juice and i tested it. so good deal or pass it up? Its mainly for the wife as i am not giving up my TL plus.:)

not bad for a pawn shop find.

eh its ok,

its going to cost you another 25 to get the charger, so if you look at the $70 price range that puts you in a better category for online buys, i'm sure you can find a e-marker with all you need to play for 50 shipped.

I would offer him 35 and tell him either he can buy you the 9.6 v and charger or he can give you a discount.

I'm sure someone on eBay will have the charger for cheaper. I found them for 99 cents a day or so ago.

will a universal charger from wally world or another mart named store work?

E-bay or PbNation might yield cheaper Spyders. I got my Pilot ACS, with battery and charger, on the Nation for $25. It was, seriously, pretty much brand new.

PBnation is fun for spyders, people diss them so much you can get them next to nothing. Got one for $10 the other day, it's for a project. ;)

Not sure if a universal charger would work. I have one and have never tried I guess. But you could get a charger for much less than $25 if you look around enough. I think ferret was trying not to butter it up by saying you can always find cheaper chargers. It might take a while to get one.

So i just seen a comercial for a dodge dealership here in town. they are bragging about thier warranty being backed by the US government. ha ha too funny!!!

anyways back to the point. I spotted another spyder, a very clean Xtra (blue) for 30 dollars. its all stock with a 12oz Co2 tank. whats your opinion. thanks.

I'd rock it. $30 aint bad for a Spyder with a 12oz.

good deal, i like the extra, one of my favorite mech, spyders, looks wise, and for 30 bucks with a tank, not a bad deal

Anything under 200.00 at the pawn shop is a good deal...

when vike first started playing, he went to a pawn shop and bought a used mech spyder for $200

Nope, sure didn't have a clue. All I knew was that it was several years ago, it was VERY pretty (the blue old-style sonix, not the new style. That came out much later...), very cool looking and that around here, no one else had anything like it. They all used tippys...Then, I found this site and realized that I could have bought one brand new for about 50-100.00.

I actually debated it for a few days before buying it. However, that guy had my number for sure. That was just the beginning of my long, expensive dive into the murky depths of paintball. But, had I not gotten it, then the "Super Sonix" wouldn't have been created, followed by the pump spyder. So, technically, although I bought it for 200.00 (with a free plastic feedneck adapter that I made him throw in ) it had three reincarnations in the past several years. That evens out the price...

all right.....giggity giggity giggity.....so my wife said okay to buying the Xtra. Huah!!!! I plopped down a whopping 27 bucks for said marker. With a 12 oz tank. So tomorrow, well today seeing as its 0531 i wil take it to splatter for a good once over and chrono. Sunday, sadly will be my last game of paintball in oklahoma, it will be a back yard family fight to the death, kinda. We will have 6 markers and players on hand, Spyder Imagine,Victor,Xtra and TL plus,an Icon X, and some kind of wierd brass eagle will take to the field as we throw some paint 'round the tool sheds.
