So I've been working on this gun since around August. I had been wanting a pump, and was looking around on the PBN B/S/T but saw nothing I liked. Then, I saw Vike's tutorial and decided it would be fun to do a Spyder pump. Initially intended to do this on my old Shutter. But I saw an old Imagine body on eBay (First Call) for $0.99+shipping, and ordered it. From then on, it was just getting small parts done when ever I had the time. The hardest parts of it were slotting the striker, and then actually getting the pump rod to the bolt (My pump rod broke on one side, so I had to improvise with an old SS line fitting).

Well, here it is!

Green Imagine body
All internals from black Shutter
PMP Trilogy Pump Kit
Trinity -7* VA w/ gauge
12" Freak w/ green AA tip
Wevo SS-25 feed (Spyder hole pattern)
CCI 10 round tube
Green CCI 12g Changer
Dye Spyder .45 Single Trigger Frame
Hybrid Grips

On average, I get around 30-40 shots out of a 12g (A lot huh?) @ 280fps. So what do you guys think? :)

You just earned props from me! That thing is sick! I'd like to see the pump rod a bit cleaner, though, as the rod you do have looks kinda....... ghetto.

yeah, bend it into an "L" shape and it would be awesome.

Thanks guys! :D

As for the rod, I tried to do the "L" shape when I first got the kit, but for some reason, one end of it just snapped off (Both ends come with threads). From my measurements, it wouldn't be able to recock. If anything, I may end up e-mailing PMP about selling me another pump rod, or sending a replacement :D

just buy a (real) gun cleaning kit and use the rods that those come with. then you'll have 3 rods to play with.

Hmm, I heard that you can usually find those at Wal-Mart, and such, but around here, no sporting good stores nor Wal-Mart carry those :(

I may have to buy one online.

That isn't a magazine... a magazine is like Car & Driver. That's a stick feed.

the phantom has the same hole setup as a spyder.

Sweet setup, the guy who was willing to part with his single trigger must've been a hell of a guy.. :P

Nice work, any plans for anodizing?

Haha, definitely one good guy, I must say ;)

As for anodizing, not really sure what to do with it. Right now, I'm focusing on getting my LP Electra ACS (Another project that I just finished parts-wise) anodized.

And for Xsiv, I had wanted to make it stock-class-like, so I searched for "Spyder feed tube" and I got a link saying that Wevo Paintball made a stock-class feed for the CCM SS-25 and it had the same hole pattern as Spyders. I found one on PbN, and bought it from the guy (Since Wevo has discontinued it). It was BNIB, with screws and everything, but the front screw was a bit long. I simply cut a little off, and bam, both worked perfect! :D The tube, itself, is from WWA.

That 12g changer was a nightmare, though. It took me 2 months to get it from WWA. First, he was gonna get it from CCI, and after 2 weeks, I got the e-mail from Paypal that says "Electronically notified. . ." Only after a month and a half, and a Paypal dispute, did it finally ship out. D=

i don't think its all that ghetto, its clean but doesn't match the standard of the rest of the gun i guess is all that would be said.

really nice! ive been wanting to do one with my MR1, but i can't really do stock class because of the angled feedneck. i could always use my ghetto stick feed. haha

tap it for the right threads?

Or use a stickfeed that clamps onto the regular feed. It wont be in the center, but it's alot easier than your other options.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! Never thought this gun would get so much praise on SOC :D

As for that pump rod, I'm planning on getting a gun cleaning kit, like DF suggested. That way, I can get it looking real nice ;D
