View Full Version : Unknown part during disassembly- Help please.. 5 PICS

OK i need some help here. I took apart my gun (as shown) to mess with the trigger a little....

when i separated the upper and lower section a nut looking piece fell out. The piece in the pic is basically a like a nut without the hex shape and no threading on the inside. It doesnt have any threads so it wasnt screwed in anywhere and nothing looks out of place. I closed the gun back up and everything worked just fine. I dont have anywhere to test with paint so I fired inside without the bottle.

If anyone know what this piece is, what it does, and where it goes that would be a great help. Its my only gun and I'd hate to have to use a rental at the field next time. Thanks!

Ah...I don't have my VS1 anymore, but I'm 100% positive it goes in the trigger frame, near that gold thingy. ;)

could be a spacer to stop the eyes from getting pinched?

Dirtysouth- any idea what it's for? It only fits by the gold bar in the pic but it doesn't seem to serve any mechanical purpose. It's too big to fit anywhere near the eyes. I fired a couple shots with no paint and everything seemed fine. Thanks for responding guys.

put it between the trigger and gold bar. it may be to keep the eye wires from getting pinched when you pull the trigger.

Yea, first time I saw it, I didn't know what it was for either. It's probably to prevent pinching wires though. Lol.

I'm 100% positive it goes over that gold thing near your trigger, ( I have a VS1 )

Even if you already found that out, I just wanted to affirm it... = )

Paintball Freak is right it goes over the brass screw assembly that holds both of your grips on either side. It is affirmed that that is the part.
