How does the pin in the Center of your ASA look? May not be reaching the tanks valve pin.

sometimes if you turn a tank on to tight it wont let air through. Check that and see then troubleshout along the air flow start to finish. make sure nothing is pluging your asa, your steasl braded hose isnt pluged or collapsed, then move to your valve ect.

ive completely dissassembled and am now reassembling it with extra care, could there be any other causes because this problem came up while the gun was together, so it's not like i changed anything

edit: ive put the striker buffer in the right place, it might have been in the wrong place

if the buffer was infront of the striker that could have caused the problems you described as well

Reassembled, and its working! Thanks everyone, it was most likely the striker buffer.
