Ok... ive looked all over for it and i cant find any jj ceramic barrels anywhere... action village shows them but they are all out of stock. I feel really bad asking but havent shopped online much, does any1 know where i can find them. I have looked for this thread but i figured it was a question for the present. If they quit making them does anybody know a good replacement that i can possibly throw my apex on and that has good accuracy.

Thanks in advance

its basically a 2 piece ceramic. not sure if its gloss or matte though.

the diameter at the tip would have to be less then 7/8s to put the apex tip on it. I just take mine to a machine shop and they will make it fit anybarrel

EDIT: come to think of it Hat had his apex on a JJ im not sure if he had to mill it though. But he said it worked incredibly well on the JJ compaired to the stock apex.

I did not have to mill the J&J ceramic just did the tape job but I think Blackhawk0 is talking about the J&J Tilt barrel which I do not know about sorry :)

yah i was talking about the tilt slim and shady... sry for not being clear... I knew i could just use electrical tape on the end of the ceramic I think ill just play it safe and just get that instead of the tilt unless someone can tell me otherwise I probably wont get a new barrel till next week

I have heard lots of good things about the Tilt but I do not know if it will fit the MR-2. Slim is right in that I really like the Ceramic/Apex combo. :D

I liked them but I am going to try something with a little harder shell to try and eliminate the few chops that I have I am only doing this because I use a Q-loader and it was Slims recomendation. I paid $79 for a case. Hope that helps.

A half case.....do teh math - :o

If you buy cheap crap paint chances are you'll have a cheap crappy day on teh field. You couldn't have found any worse paint available than Big Ball. It's like buying a Yugo as opposed to a Lincoln. Get the Marbs and reap the benefits of using quality paint -

One thing that I don't think people realize is that the J&J barrels are all over in terms of sizing. I have seen this first hand. A paint that gives a good match to one person's barrel may not give a good match to another.

If no purchases have been made, consider Lapco's Apex ready barrel. They are very well made, consistently sized, have air efficient porting, accept the Apex right away and are reasonably priced.
