i got a 20 inch sp linear, but i want something shorter, and better. i don't have a lot of money to spend either, so does anyone know a realy good barrel that doesn't cost a million bucks?

a 12" J&J barrel
03-04-2009, 03:33 PM
are j&j's that good?
03-04-2009, 03:47 PM
for your purpose, more than you need right now.

well i'd like to snipe. and one day throw on a rocking trigger, and an anti chop bolt and do some close up ****

I'd advise getting a regular electronic frame instead of the rocking trigger. I have a rocking trigger and it's insanely sensitive, if an atom of your finger touches an atom of the trigger it goes off, practically. Its definitely NOT for beginners.

i've been playin for a few years now, so im not a begginer, and what would a good electronic frame be?
03-05-2009, 10:18 AM
no. the first step is admitting your a beginner.
If you must get a e-trigger, I would look for an used e_frame in the b/s/t. decided what modes you want and look for in it.
or go look for a single trigger mechanical frame:D
03-05-2009, 10:22 AM
yea, i'd really like a single trigger one. do you where i could get one?
and i'd say 3 years is intermediate
03-05-2009, 10:28 AM
i'd say 3 years is still beginner, unless you have have some real experience on your belt to back it. Your probably not a noob and i'll give you that much dignity seeing as you actually built a custom gun.
Single Trigger Frame, buy an older spyder with on. I believe somebody was selling like 30 them for 30 bucks.
03-05-2009, 10:31 AM
o really? cool. and im deff not noob. lol, but i'll check that out. im gonna start making more of those bodies ( mp5, xm8) and the single grip will do better, plus i can sell that wit the bodies
03-05-2009, 10:38 AM
check this out. these are dirt cheap in my book.
and about your sig
you should hyperlink "built it myself" to the thread about your gun
03-05-2009, 10:39 AM
yea i replied that i want the grip. that would be great lol. but i won't pay 30 for just the grip, and i'm low on cash. im only 14 so i don't have a job haha
03-05-2009, 10:47 AM
well i doubt he is going to part it out given the fact there not his guns. and i would be surprised if you could even find a single trigger frame for to much less for that in good working condition.
and i understand the no money thing but that comes with the sport. you need money to play and for the equiptment.
03-05-2009, 12:10 PM
yea, true lol, that's why im tryin to sell these mr1 bodies, make some cash
03-05-2009, 12:22 PM
If you're trying to sell the service of fitting airsoft bodies for MR1s I dunno how much business you'll be able to do, just because its simple enough to do and a lot of people probably won't spend that much time/cash on an MR1. Good luck though.
03-05-2009, 12:23 PM
o thanks lol. well idk, i spent bout 5 hours on mine, and if your not good with a dremel your gonna jus wind up wit a cut up peice of plastic
03-05-2009, 12:31 PM
I did the same mod to my MR1 with an airsoft sniper rifle, it just took time, not much of anything else, except for when I messed with the internals and modded the cocking system...
03-05-2009, 12:33 PM
lol. put a pic up i wana see this
03-05-2009, 12:34 PM
The pics are in my sig, if you click on the "MR1 Sniper Rifle" hyperlink.
03-05-2009, 12:36 PM
thats a nice job
03-05-2009, 12:37 PM
Thanks, its an old pic and I've since taken the tape off, but I still haven't finished the cocking mechanism.
03-05-2009, 12:39 PM
nice tho. im prob gonna build an xm8 next. saw a broken one for 10 bucks, it don't shoot, but idc just need the body
03-05-2009, 12:43 PM
oh man speacking of snipers, i can't wait to use the bullets, now we actually be able to pull off the sniper range.
03-05-2009, 12:45 PM
yea i saw those, pretty sweet
03-05-2009, 12:47 PM
oh man, i'm excited for those, dude got a head shot 100yards away.
03-05-2009, 12:49 PM
yea but they're expensive
03-05-2009, 01:07 PM
yeah but if your shooting from long range how many are you really going to use? Plus the people who are going to buy them probably have a decent shot to use it well.
03-05-2009, 03:13 PM
yea. when i get the cash, i'll prob get the t9 and all
