Ok I'm sure this is a newbish question but can somebody explain this to me? Exactly which part of the bolt is this? what happens when you take it out? Does it help much with lowering the pressure? And does anybody have a guide on how to do it?

look in your bolt, see the star thing? that's it, to remove it, i just used needle nose pliers, if you have a hard time getting it out you may have to heat it up (just slightly)

just read everything! it will really help.

yeah the star thing inside the bolt...remove it with a needle nose pliers...i wish i knew back then cuz i used 2 long kebob holders to remove it. it helps with low pressure guns if u are on the budget... porting and polishing the bolt will drop off sum weight and reduce friction. removing the star will make flow better...read ottercustoms

Can I just remove it though? Or do I have to have a low pressure gun? Right now I've got a stock internals MR1 so would it help anything to remove it now?

yeah, just go ahead and remove it

remvoing the star thingy will put less resistance on the air that is required to propel the ball

how will this affect my fps?

how will this affect my fps?

It should only make it a little more consistent. Other than that it wont cause your gun to do anything else related to your fps. Oh, and it helps your Co2 usage become more efficient as well...
