Format is 3 man and 5 man

The 3 man beginners will have Spyder Electra's supplied for the players of each event.
The markers will be capped at 5 balls per second. You will be supplied with a marker, Fasta loader, 45/45 tank at each game. You will pick up the marker as you enter the field and as you exit you will turn in. This makes it fair for everyone and no need for sandbaggers to play.

The 5 man will be open to use all your own equipment. The regional bracket will allow players of national events that play D3,D4 will have a place to hone your skills while on some down time. I feel that this will give all the TX players a great division to play and have fun as well as win some paint to help offset practices.

The series champion for.....
3 man rookie will get 12 cases of paint and a trophy.
5 man regional will get 25 cases of paint and a trophy.


Rules will be released in June and will be all new for this series. My goal is to offer all players a safe and fair start in tournament paintball. The series will be a great start for all new players that want to learn the game in a safe and fair environment for all.
I feel that all the 3 man teams using identical equipment will make it fair and safe for the new players in the sport.
The HRL is here for all of you and we strive to offer the best events possible.

This will be tweaked as we find new issues and hear some input from the players. PLEASE keep positive input for this. NO BS remarks needed. If this does not look good to you then you do not have to play. I am trying to bring in new players so the game will grow for all of us to enjoy. Thanks in advance for all of your support.

Why are you always whining about low bps?? I mean seriously what's wrong with it? Especially in a tourney designed for noobs it makes it way more fun. If everyone is shooting higher bps then it just makes the game end faster and in my opinion it makes it less fun when the game ends that fast. Also with 5 and 8 bps it makes it work to have a more defensive strategy. When you get up around 18 or 20 bps it's just people finding a hole rushing and bunkering :thumbdown: Yeah it can be cool to watch guys go through whole cases of paint in a game or two but it gets old after a while...

i think its great that beginner is capped so low, but 5 seems really low. 7-8 would have been a little better IMO, then 10 in the next bracket.

5bps is a little slow... I mean, I can shoot faster than that with a mech gun, wtf am I supposed to do to cap myself with a mech? There ISN'T a way to do that.

5 bps is low, but I can remember entering a all Tallon turney(an all plastic POS of a pump running on 12gram Co2 and 10 round sticks . I had a blast as did most of the new guys. It should go over well with new players.
