I have an Imagine Select. That will not fire, in any mode. Pretty sure it's the capacitor. The gun is only 15 months old. Not really happy...

Where would I find one?

Besides at http://store.paintballace.com/spcica6816v.html

The shipping is slightly on the high side.

Any help would be great.

Battery fully charged, trigger switch activating, pinched wires, two prongs to the capacitor completely attached to it and the board? Could be a lot of things... Check thos it could be something simple...

yea do what big daddy said and then an easy way to tell if the capicitior is bad just look at the end of it and if its bulged out, then its probably blown.

... well yeah i'd go with what bigdaddy said .. but explain more ... does the frame still turn on ?? .. and are you still able to click the noid ?? ... is it just that the sear isn't letting go of the striker ??

The capacitor is bulged out. It also has brown crusty stuff coming out of it.
The sear just does not have enough power to fire the gun.
Battery fully charged. Tried a new battery still same problem.

Went to radio shack, they took must of there parts like that out of the store.
Going to try the one buy my work.
The paintball pro shops by me don't carry replacement parts for spyder.

I will get this gun fixed one way or another.
I will keep you all up to date.

If your capacitor is bulging and you have crap coming out of it thats probably the culprit...If it is still in warranty call kingman and see if they will replace the board. You'll have to send the marker in though. If not there are some folks on the forums here that have boards for sale. I've got a stock board that I can get rid of (IPI 3.0) That I have laying around.
