So last night I had FireFox freeze on me and I had to end the program now all that nonsense but another pop up showed up and it was something about plug-ins for AIM. I didn't really read it which was a mistake but I just clicked ok and ever since then my AIM won't sign on. It gets to the configuring stage and then it says Cannot Connect. I have re-installed the program. Reset all of the settings. Still nothing.
I'm stumped.

Uninstall AIM and use Pidgin.
Not trying to be a smart arse, but Pidgin really is awesome. Lower on resources, ad-free, etc.

I never did like Trillian. Nothing has come close to Pidgin for me.
