Hey guys,
I've been out of the sport for a little while; however, I'm getting back in and I'm looking for a few things. The first thing I need are some grips for my custom built 2k5'd Species Intimidator. About a year or two ago, there was someone making some custom grips on pbnation but I've had not luck. Any new grips out there (the colors would need to be black & blue) that would fit my need?
Also looking for a 68/45 stubby tank and wandering where's the best place to look for tanks or is there anything new out worth looking into? Thanks guy and I appreciate any help with finishing my project.

This is who you want to make your grips.

Perfect Shu, that's exactly what I was looking for. After seeing those custom grips, I'm thinking of taking a picture similar to this and have a black to blue fade done to match "Sil." What do you think?

or maybe this pic, keeping the same colors.

I think I like the first one better. looks meaner.

also try this guy: http://www.intimidatorowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1578

he'll tweak them exactly how you want, and then you can just send the template into SPD

I really appreciate the help guys. I've been searching all days for custom grips like these and have had no luck.

Here's an old pic of "Sil", I'm open to any other suggestions you may have for grips. Definately thinking the grips can make or break this marker.

you think just a single color black grip. No species image?

i dont know about the exact image, but i think black grips with a little matching blue would look good. my Dark has those colors inverted, so i've been looking at black/blue grips too, but i cant find a design i like.

ok, I've ruled out the second image; however, unsure about even putting an image on there. It would be original, but I agree with ya DF that just a black and blue would look good as well.

I vote image, it would be more unique

I appreciate the input. Seems the image would separate it from the rest of the species timmys. I am going to email that guy and make sure he can do that top image for me. Not sure how I should do the colors. I'm thinking the grips should be blue with the species inserted just how it shows on the link. Any other ideas?

okay guys, I think I've decided on a pic for the grips.

The other ones are not going to work because I could not find them 500 K or larger. Let me know what you guys think about this pic on some smoke or black grips for "Sil"

Smoke, Sick pick for grip

thank you sir. Just trying to really seperate this species from the rest of them. Got a lot of work to do to it still but I think these grips will really set it off.

Fred, if you don't mind me asking how much are the costom grips going to run?

I believe it's going to be $35.00 which will include inserting the pic onto the grips. If you just want their grips with a single color, they are $25.00. Check out the link I was given in the first page of this thread. Their customer service is great as well. Been communicating with them via email and have had quick and professional responses.
