A friend of mine just aquired an old spyder but we're having trouble identifying it. I'm guessing a Targa but I'm having trouble finding good pics of the Targa to compare and the one I attached didn't say what model it was.
Could someone enlighten us?
I'll attach an image we found that looks like it's the same model.
Thanks!!!

that is a beautiful Spyder Classic. if it's like the one pictured, it's not a Targa (Targa was not a Kingman marker). it's the second generation of the Spyder Original. if you need any other info, just let me know.
here's mine:

Ahh ok, I wasn't sure if it mattered if it had a LPC or not, since his doesn't and the only pics I found of the classics had LPC's.
Thanks for the help!

the Spyder Original came with a flat site rail and a plug where the LPC goes. it came with a 9 1/2" brass lined barrel. also the screw holes for the ball detent cover are set apart wider than the ones on the Classic. the Spyder Classic came with a raised site rail and a LPC and had a 9 1/2" aluminum barrel.

Thanks aodsnyper! I finally got a chance to take a couple pics of the actual marker and it does appear to be a "Spyder Original". I'll attach the pics.. let me know what you guys think.

Yep. It was just enough to attach a site to. I still have mine from the Spyder I bought way back in '97.
Here's one on a Spyder Elite:
