whatever happened about getting a G7?

Well, I got one. This one actually is Dave Bains' old Cobra G7, with tattoos. Serial number 8698. It's currently in the shop, but it'll be back out soon. Was absolutely horrid when I got it, so if you want to look at ALL the pictures, check out the gallery here: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/bigred76/Cobra%20G7/?start=0

For those that don't want to do that, here ya go:

You can see a bit of the tattoos in this one:

Enjoy!

EDIT: Here's Dave Bains actually using the gun in the 2005 San Diego NPPL:

Yeah, Angels that had the battery pack, came with car chargers. You had to buy a wall charger seperately. Kinda stupid, which is why I stuck with Speeds. They ran off 9 volts.

my 04 speed had a rechargeable battery. I was going to buy a wall charger, but for the 80 bucks it cost, and the fact that i was never going to use it, really didnt help.

I got a DC adapter (wall to car charger adapter) with a player's kit with a set of Angel tools for $40, not fretting it. It's got insane battery life. Adding the picture of Dave Bains using this marker in the 2005 San Diego NPPL in the first post now.

Nice - I've always liked Angels!

Yeah, my 04 Speed only came with a car charger, and I had to turn the gun on to actually get it to charge. Weird, but ok. If it wasn't so dang heavy, and I didn't have my Shocker at the time I'd probably still have the Angel.

Lol, I included that one in the count, Hopps. It might just be sold off as well, I need quite a hunk of change for my next gun. Borg, Protege, PM6, 2k2 framed Alias... those are all going for sure.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Hahaha. How'd you guess? Maybe the fact that he'd never sell the Borg unless it was for another.

Possibly. :D I need to raise a LOT of cash soon here for it, as it's twice what my most expensive marker cost me.

Yea basically. Red likes his 06 Borg alot, and I figured it will prolly be another one, considering the fact that it just came out, and noticing he said he needed alot of money.

Personally I would just get a Droid. They are only 800 ish now, and in my opinion will shoot better than the Borg, but I dont know cause I havent shot either. I like the droid better though from what Ive seen of it.

Pft. Droids are also a spool style marker. I just don't like them. The Borgs are more reliable, IMO, as a poppit-valve always will be.

The Droid shoots incredible... but it's a spool. It's only redeeming factor for me is the incredible stock trigger setup. The Borg has this... as well as a system that makes the easiest maintenance of a marker easier to maintain.

Exactly! And because of the closed-bolt design, it's also more reliable in ALL weather conditions that ANY other stacked tube poppit out there.

Almost been 4 weeks since I took this baby into the shop. The owner there's been REALLY busy, so it's understandable, it's just a pain waiting on it to come out.

I'm going to be listing some guns up soon here. :(
