Ok I have had several forum members pm/aim me asking for certain pics or just what ever I am shooting at the moment, since I take pics all the time now I figured I would start one thread and just continually update it as more pics roll in.

To start things off I went to a Dodge and Viper show/drag race at lonestar raceway yesterday, here are a few of the good ones:

Nifty fifty, Tamron 24-75 f/2.8 and Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 are the first three on the list.

Then comes the L invasion. Once I'm satisfied with the glass collection, I'll upgrade the body. Its just a 350D, which I said I wouldn't buy again, but I decided to get a cheap body and collect glass first.

Not a bad idea, I almost went for a cheaper body but then the rebates came out and I went for the 40D since it was only a couple hundred more.

I need testers!

I finally finished my website, hence no new pics, CSS code kicked my ass since i don't know it.

Anyways I need people to test it out.

Check list:
-all buttons work on every page
-email links take you to david@dliveleyphotography.com (send a test email if you please
-proof reading if you don't mind
-the test gallery works
-pic should become bigger by using the box when you mouse over the image
-make sure slideshow works in the gallery
-you can add pics to the cart
-shouldn't be able to right click/download the image
-also feel free to sign the guestbook

Also if anybody wants prints there at cost to me right now, get them while there cheap:p

If you check it please report your findings here along with what browser you were using.

Any input into making it better would be good to.

Thanks.

I originally picked up a tamron 17-50 2.8, had to return it twice and all three copys were ****, focus was way off, it was loud and felt like crap. Got a refund and got this, so much better. Doesn't have the 2.8 speed (but F4 is good enough for now) but build quality, focus speed, silent focus, full time manual focus more then make up for it. I won't buy anything but L glass from now on.

What do the originals of the bridge and building look like?

Thats the same wide angle that my dad and I use. Great lens.

Also, nice meter. Also the same one we use (if I'm not mistaken)

17-40 kicks ass, I am so happy with it. Its amazingly sharp.

A different kind of self pic for today:

Taken with 17-40L, alittle over 100% crop. Involved liveview, mirror so i could see what liveview was taking, 2 studio lights and about 30 pics to finally get a good one.

Been busy doing other stuff but quick update for now:

Landed on my backdrop while shooting some products for a friend, had my macro lens sitting by me so I threw it on really quick and got this:
