So, I am planning on getting a new gun in the near future considering the fact that I need a new speedball gun. I recently bought an e-MR1 setup over the summer for my woodsball needs. So, this is my thought about what im going to get...
-Spyder VS3 Black
-Pure Energy 68ci 3000psi tank
-Spyder FASTA hopper-18v-Black-30+bps
So what do you think?

not bad but I'd get a halo instead, fastas tend to have a weak feedneck

i'd get the electra or rsx over the vs3

What advatntages do the Electra or RSX have over the VS3? Also, thanks for the heads up on the hopper...

- can use any barrel
- not all tourney rules allow rocking triggers
- easier to upgrade/replace parts
- can use co2
- can use regular 9v
- vertical regulator (if you decide to upgrade, you don't need to get a new ASA too)
- tadao board comes stock

Good point about the rocking trigger, im a PRO Ref myself and that totally slipped my mind lol. Ive had a Dye DM8 (yea I had alot of money on me at the time so the $1200 price tag didnt effect me lol) for the last 8 months or so and Ive always depended on Spyder for my mech needs kinda so im not all familiar with the electrical models. The rocking trigger is what is really throwing me off with the VS series markers but besides that I think they are the best buy.

if you still want the vs3, save yourself some money by getting the vs2. has the exact same parts, minus the rocking trigger and the stupid barrel shroud milling.

Yea, thats what I started to get to after reviewing some features but its not like im saving $100, its really only like $20 but hey I guess im saving. How does the VS series markers do with a 3000psi tank versus a 4500psi tank?

The exact same. The extra PSI in the tank is merely more air to shoot with. You're only going to get 3/2 times the shots with a 4500psi tank vs a 3kpsi tank.

I love the Fasta!!!!! Never had a single problem with it! It's the most under rated hopper out there! It's awesome!!!!

The VS3 has a diffrent valve then the VS1. This new valve can give you a lot of trouble if you are not careful. Keep you pressure up around 300 psi and then adjust the velosity down. I would say get the RSX or the Electra they have the old style valve so no trouble.

For the VS 3 the valve is very good, it 's the stock reg that is jumpy and take time to break in. Try the rocking trigger first if you don't like it you can look at a VS2 or RS (Improved reg over VS series) The RSX just comes with up graded board. That you can find on line for 45 bucks.
