I picked up this old-school "Armson Paintball Rifle" pump-action for the equivalent of 8 USD. Come to think of it, the new 9oz CO2 bottle and 50 round hopper I bought for it was more expensive.
Standard features are a spring-loaded ball-detent which only works when the pump is at the back of it's stroke. Plus it's got a removable, rifled barrel and an auto-trigger. Everything still works 100% after more than 14 years (I think this one was made in 94, but I could be wrong and it could be older).
The original 10oz bottle I got has "Catalina Cylinders" and "Made in the USA" written on the sticker and the pump has "Made in the Republic of South Africa" stamped on the right-hand side.
The first three photos are of the marker I bought, the last is of a spotless Armson with its original coating, which is how I want mine to look after refurbishing.
Quick question, should I anodise, paint or powder coat it?
