i realized why i like the green one. it reminds me of the rodeo. :nododgy: funny thing is, i never really liked the design of the rodeo.

That regulator looks strange - the skinny part of it, that is...

I like it, but I won't get it. Too expensive.

Wonder what the Proto guns are going to look like?

It reminds me of a Marq/Mummy.

It reminds me of a Marq/Mummy.

Yeah I thought the same. I like it more then the DM8 though

looks like the reg is threaded like the SLGs...meaning its not standard. FTL

09-21-2008, 07:55 PM
i'm sure someone will make an adapter.

09-21-2008, 08:30 PM
It kinda does look like that. But you don't really need to upgrade a reg like that

09-22-2008, 11:34 AM
the green one looks like a spyder rodeo modded out...a little.

The reg. threads are the same as last year, there smaller to allow the body to be smaller where the reg. mounts at. Somebody already makes a screw in adapter so it goes to regular threads, I don't know why you would want it though there is no reason to change the reg out.

going to get my hands on one soon to take a look at. Markers are going to get so light soon it will be like playing with a straw and spitballs.

I like the look of it...wonder what the Protos will do for 09.

Maybe I'll hit the lottery and my wife will decide I can afford ONE!!!

We got two of the green ones in at the shop and they are pretty slick :)

I'm very glad they did away with the magnetic detents. I lost count of how many eye sleeves I had to replace due to magnets going in backwards. And finally they did away with the on/off knob under the barrel.

While straws and spitballs are fun, I'd prefer a little weight haha.

Is there a such thing as "too light?"

09-28-2008, 09:17 PM
Some people think so. I really don't mind

:dodgy: words of a true wingman.

Lighter is always better in paintball as long as it's evenly lighter. a light gun with heavy tank and hopper can get really wierd, but a really light full setup is feas.

DM9 looks sweet

Yeah I like it alot more then the DM8, I didn't really like the way the DM8 looked

Hey guys I got hands on time with the dm9. Let me start off with its not nearly as small as I pictured it in my mind. The bolt is the same size as my m8s bolt. Its shoots incredibly, It is by far the nicest shooting gun I have ever shot. Not as innovative as I thoght either. Milling isnt that spectacular when you see it up close. The removable eye detent thing is really sweet. But not much to it I like my SL8r and my pm a little bit better for the money. The GEO looks alot more interesting.
