c02 tank at 1200+ psi?

i have a 20 oz tank, i filled the tank up, then when i plugged it into my gun, the bob long gauge (on the asa) was maxed out (over 1200 psi). but i thought c02 only gets up to about 800 psi. would it matter if the gauge is upside down?

when the bl gauge (on the asa) read 400psi my other gauge (stock spyder reg gauge) on the reg read about 100 psi.

whats up, is the bl gauge just gone bad?

Probably due to liquid C02 seepage it went bonkers. Also, C02 can easily get up to 1800psi on a warm day.... ;)

It's fairly easy to put a tank in the summer sun and have it exceed 1800 PSI.......that is what most burst discs are rated at!
