Got a shot today of the mockup of my latest project and I couldn't wait, I had to post it somewhere:

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/jeffstory/Paintball/CIMG0448.jpg

It started off life as a Trilogy Tactical, then I added the PMP pump kit, and CCM frame. In that shot, it's had the ring that mounted the ram to the cocking rod removed so that a straight pump rod could be used, been halfblocked, and had the feedneck modified to accept a Spyder tabbed feedneck. Along with being milled for the feedneck, it's also going to be convertible between having a CCM lever-lock feedneck or a spring feed.

I'm in love. :)

Hey, you too can spend a stupid amount of money getting a $100 marker customized to order. :D

Thanks guys, I don't want to take too much credit. While it was my idea to halfblock it and change the feedneck, the machinist is the one doing all the real work, and he's the one who came up with the idea to remove the ram mounting ring.

However, I will gladly accept your compliments, I do seem to be an attention whore with this thing :D. I can't wait to get it in my hands, get it all bolted together and see what I can do with it.

That actually looks good. Best Tril pump I've ever seen.

Yeah, no kidding, but it fits perfectly and feels great. I'm glad I got one of these now, my understanding is that they've gone back to offering them as a slim model, not as beefy around the grip.

Yeah, they are going to make a run of "slim" frames. I agree, the 45*CCM frame is BOMB. I have to get the autotrigger kit for mine, and I'll have the complete set (I <3 autotrigger).

Got some parts in, mostly assembled, and better pics of what was done:

And, just now, I got some pics from the airsmith of the spring feed, it's not finished, and still has quite a ways to go, but apparently, it's fully functional.

Once the spring feed is done, then all I need are grips, a barrel, fittings and line, anno, and what seems to be impossible to find Spyder feedneck screws.

wow, how long is that barrel?

Critical
09-23-2008, 07:40 PM
The barrel is going to be a 14" DW Fibur. The spring feed should be 14 3/4" from the tip to the center of the feed hole. That way, they will be almost exactly the same length.

ah, nice.

Yup, it'll be fun.

Apparently the back cap only takes 1 turn to remove, so I'll probably have to figure out a way to leash it so I don't drop it. Losing custom one-off parts in the woods would suck. I need to start practicing removing the back cap, popping open my 10 round tubes, and returning the back cap. I may have to get that third arm installed.

Just wondering, since I am making a halfblock Trilogy too, is jcurt from pbn the machinist you are referring to? I might be buying a couple parts from him.

Critical

jcurt is the guy, although I haven't dealt with him on pbn.
