You probably need to get the MR series riser rail (3/8 dove tail) for the scope to fit on. If its a 7/8's rail you will still need a riser to get past the cocking mechinism.

its not the bolt of the feedneck, its the rail, the scope rail is smaller than the mr rail, why???? shouldnt it fit?

09-02-2008, 05:23 PM
The scope you have was made for the MR-2 or 3. All you need is the rail from this page (http://www.spyder.tv/section/products/mr_series/mr_accessories.html)Hope that helps

damn @#$#@suckas it said it was for all the mr series,so the tactical rail will solve this problem?? or what about a offsetmount, what dimension should it be for it to fit the mr1??

Compatibility Chart says that the scope fits the mr1,im so confused...and pissed!

You will want the part the ataches to the gun to be weaver style and the part the ataches to the sight to be 3/8 dove tail. Hope that is what you are asking

09-02-2008, 05:39 PM
I just noticed that maybe you should tell Kingman to change there web sight

09-02-2008, 05:51 PM
oh you making fun of me huh!...

and yes i want the part the ataches to the gun to be weaver style and the part the ataches to the sight to be 3/8 dove tail can it be found?

I was not making fun at you.
I tried to find what you are looking for and could only come up with the sizes opposite of what you need. Dovetail too weiver but not the other way for an off set. You might have better luck or just go with the riser from Spyder

Yeah, I ran into the same problem with that red dot. You need a "Tactical Rail" to get it to fit, here is a link...

09-04-2008, 06:06 PM
oh no this is not the one..oops

09-04-2008, 06:13 PM

09-04-2008, 09:02 PM
yes like that. You still need a riser or of set though

09-05-2008, 03:30 AM
but the adapter works a little bit as a riser,no?

i think that the tactical riser of spyder doesnt look so cool with the scope.
what do you guys think??

09-05-2008, 09:04 AM
I have both on mine....works great. I can walk comfortably and aim through the red dot without rubbing the butt stock with my mask.

09-05-2008, 09:42 AM
uhm...i think ill go with the riser still im mad with kingman spider for for saying stuff that arent truth!!!

09-05-2008, 02:51 PM
I just got the riser rail and red dot and I can't wait to play with them. I think they look good on the gun.

i would go with the raised site rail as well. at first i bought a reddot from walmart with the 7/8 rail and it fit, but the top cocking knob was in the way. so i had a friend cut the knob for clearance and the the stock would get in the way. in the end i got the raised site rail from spyder and a knew knob also i cut the top of the stock for mask clearance and it looks much better and is much mor functional.
