Please read all of the following guidelines before posting in this contest thread to prevent you from making any inadvertent errors that could possibly disqualify you from winning the grand prize package.

Thank You

Hello all and welcome to our first week Sundragon Paintball Products & Supplies 4th anniversary contest thread. There will be one contest per week throughout the whole month of September. As the weeks progress, so should the bulk worth of prizes per contest. So may the difficulty of means to acquire the prizes as well. No special skills should be needed to participate in these SPPS sponsored giveaways.

Rather than just one contest with a few prize winners, we will be offering only one grand prize winner per week. As I mentioned in the other announcement thread in this section, there have been some new developments since the inception of this idea. That being; I spoke with some of my suppliers and associates and a few of them have pledged additional products to be included in the final prize tally per week. Isn't that just too sweet?! I have yet contacted all of these associates so I'm in hopes that may possibly increase throughout the endurance of the month.

Just to keep everyone on the edge of their seats, unlike most all contests you've seen, the prizes to be distributed here will not be announced till the winner of the contest is announced. Ha ha, just like Christmas in September! The only difference being, you can't shake the package to guess what's inside. Though for the most part they will, not all items will be Spyder related parts and products. Most assured they will all be paintball related.

There will be one primary winner each week. There will be two secondary winners chosen as well in case the primary either forfeits acceptance of the winnings, does not supply us with the information we require to safely ship the prizes to them or does not contact us within the alloted time frame listed below.

The primary winner has 2 days after the posted announcement of winning to claim his/her prize package so be sure to frequent these forums for results. If we are not contacted within that time frame, the grand prize goes to the next in line secondary winner. This primary winner must provide SundragonPPS with their full name, mailing address, city, state, zip code and full phone number through PM's(private messages) on these boards. If you don't know how to use the private message system here, you might acquaint yourself with them before the deadline just in case. If the prize package is returned to us for any reason at all(unless it is directly in our error), the primary winner unconditionally forfeits the package to the next in line secondary winner who must then provide us with the same aforementioned information in the same manner and conditions.

Any current contributing member of these forums may enter to win this contest without condition of race, creed, gender, position on this website or location of residence.

Any of these terms or conditions may be changed at any time at our discretion during the endurance of this contest or after the announcement of the winner has been posted. By posting your entry below you are confirming that you fully agree to all the above conditions without objection or debate. If you do not agree to these conditions, we ask that you kindly refrain from posting in this contest thread. Thank you

OK everybody, this is a real tough one. Let's all have some fun

1) Make one post in this thread of 25 words or more. There are no stipulations of content(please be civil) but that you type the 25 words or more out yourself. Post anything you'd prefer.
2) Do not make more than one post in this thread or you will be automatically disqualified of any winnings or entry.
3) Any less that 25 words in the post you make, will automatically disqualify you of any winnings or entry.
4) If you edit or change your post in any way, you will be automatically disqualified.
5) If you have any further questions, comments or general chat that would increase your post count and disqualify you due to the aforementioned rules, please post them in the initial contest announcement thread (http://www.spyder.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=18086) in this section, not this one.
6) Please do not contact me by private messages with questions or comments concerning the contest as I will not answer them.
7) The only one that may make more than one post in this thread is SundragonPPS.
8) The winner of this contest will be chosen by the number on their post in the upper right hand corner. Numbers will be thrown into a hat. First pulled will be the primary winner. Two additional numbers will be pulled as well as secondary candidates. Secondary in line opportunities will be in the order that they're pulled.
9) Post entry deadline is by September 7th at 11:59PM EST
10) The winner and prize package of week 1 will be announced some time during course of September 8th at our discretion.

Thank you all for entering and best of luck!

Through out the ages, many cultures have stories about their existence. Cultures that had no way of contacting each other. Creatures that terrified and inspired many people. What are these creatures? What could be know to cultures scattered all over the world? The answer is Dragons!
From Europe to Asia, South America to Africa, stories of majestic lizard like creatures that can fly and in some cases “breath fire”. in the oncoming sections we will discuss each aspect of the dragon.
The ability to fly:
Lizards have had the ability to fly at one point in time. The age of the dinosaurs saw lizards with wings larger than most cars of today are long.
The ability to breath fire:
No animal in history has the ability to cause a flame by using a bi-product of some chemical reaction in their body. But, Animals do have the ability to produce a great heat. There is a beetle in Africa that has this as a self defense mechanism. The Bombardier Beetle shoots a liquid that is very close to boiling point, but that is not fire.

There could possibly be a human aspect in this tale of breathing fire. There is a possibility that when a dragon roared, the actual breath of the dragon was very hot, which is not unlikely. Alligators and Crocodiles have this ability to “growl” that feels hot to the touch.
This could be mistaken for fire.

Thanks for all the nice comments!

While dropping off the weekend orders today, I checked my box. Had a key in it and when I opened the locker there was 1 box from Tadao and another from CCM. Odd thing is, I didn't order anything from them recently. Both sounded like they had some stuff in them. Wonder why they'd send me stuff if I hadn't ordered anything? I suppose I'll check them this weekend to find out why.

09-03-2008, 11:15 AM
I was thinking of placing a order today and bam on the home page I see a contest. I figure ill check it out and looks cool. still think ill place that order today or tomorrow but thanks for the chances to win

09-03-2008, 11:37 AM
So yea I am at work and sweating like crazy. I have been putting together beds all day long and its begining to get really old. I think I will go in the back and take a nap on a sofa after I put legs on it.

09-04-2008, 11:00 PM
WOW! Thought there would be more an interest in free stuff. Maybe this is too low profile a section or are people just holding out? Better odds for the ones that have posted I suppose.

09-05-2008, 03:39 AM
Sorry about that! I've been pretty busy at work this week. Thing is, I'm entering because I want to win a contest on SOC (post KUSA) before I hang up the cleats, and I'm not getting any younger! Make an old guy happy and just give the prize to me, please! :D

09-05-2008, 04:20 PM
I was thinking about posting in this thread for some time now. I guess i am. What are the odds of me actually winning though? Its free stuff, how can i refuse?

09-06-2008, 09:29 AM
sorry, lol, been busy. and just rembered this thread so its all good! told a lot of guys i know about yalls stuff, and they he loved using it! keep up the great work! and um..i never win so let me if you would want to :D

09-06-2008, 09:36 AM
oh wow, i didn't realize that the first contest had already started. school and work have really been getting to me! and here's word twenty-five!

09-06-2008, 11:27 AM
Fine... Andy, Tim, you two beat me to the contest.

I've been really busy as of late with school, my mother on her way out, and work. It's been really hard and I've been really fatigued. That's probably why you don't see me posting on here every day like the usual.

I would like to mention that everyone's prayers are helping. My mother (For the past two days) has been able to walk. She has control over her right side enough now to use it in a productive manor and is enjoying walking around and talking with friends. Her mental clarity is also returning. We're still under the assumption that the cancer will beat her in the end... but for now, this is a nice relief. Thank you again everyone for your prayers and for being the ONLY community online that I am comfortable talking with about this. You are my family.

Thank you SPPS for making this contest! Can't wait to see the prizes. :)

09-06-2008, 06:30 PM
Didn't see the contest till now, figured I'll give it a go and see how it is. I hope I get lucky and win something.

09-07-2008, 11:02 AM
HOLA! I was surfing your website today and I wanted to tell you something about your trigger and I decided to read whats new since this past summer I have bought a couple time from you and BAM! contesteo! woot.

Side note! the magno trigger does not fit the Raven Nexion Trigger frame, I have a feeling I am the idiot that doesn't know which frame is on the nexion, but I modded your trigger to fit. If you want to see I will show you but It fits and looks nice!

09-07-2008, 11:12 AM
Well I just found out about this contest and since it ends tommorow I guess I will go ahead and enter! I don't really have some big interesting story to tell or anything so I will just say this so I can get to the twenty-five word post limit.

09-08-2008, 05:42 PM

1st Secondary Winner: Post #3
2nd Secondary Winner: Post #4

Ok, I've had a long day, but it certainly looks like it's me on this one. You guys might need to clear it up for me since I'm so old...

09-08-2008, 05:58 PM
What did you use to circle that number? It doesn't look forum appropriate...

09-08-2008, 06:00 PM
Hehehe! It does look familiar...

No really - I guess I'm not getting this (it REALLY has been a long day today.) Did someone else win? I keep seeing everyone say someone else won? You guys really are messing with my head!

09-08-2008, 06:04 PM
Critical one, you have to go congratulate him, then do 500 jumping jacks and run around your block 50 times because you lost.

09-08-2008, 06:05 PM
actually you do make an interesting pouint is it the # at the upper right hand corner or is it the # of post after sundragons....meaning then vikes is 13

09-08-2008, 06:07 PM
it's got to be post number, as long as SPPS doesn't pull their own name, it can be any, but I think it was straight post #.

09-08-2008, 06:08 PM
Please read all of the following guidelines before posting in this contest thread to prevent you from making any inadvertent errors that could possibly disqualify you from winning the grand prize package.

Thank You

8) The winner of this contest will be chosen by the number on their post in the upper right hand corner. Numbers will be thrown into a hat. First pulled will be the primary winner. Two additional numbers will be pulled as well as secondary candidates. Secondary in line opportunities will be in the order that they're pulled.

09-08-2008, 06:12 PM
sorry i was thinking about the post counter as of now mine is like 1162

09-08-2008, 06:15 PM
No, that's directly from the first page of this thread. And if you look at the bolded part here:

Primary Winner: Post #14
1st Secondary Winner: Post #3
2nd Secondary Winner: Post #4

It would seem that the post number 14 (doesn't say anything about being after Sundragon's post or whatever) just the number in the upper right hand corner. The other two numbers would be who would win after 48 hours should Sundragon not be contacted with the correct info.

ANOTHER 500 jumping jacks? I just did 500 as a warm up to posting tonight and ran 75 laps - dang - 25 too many!

09-08-2008, 06:27 PM
Which means you lost, Bryce. Get those running shoes back on and get back out there!

09-08-2008, 08:25 PM
It is now confirmed and locked! The member that made post #14 vikingshadow, has completed the requirements of the SPPS 4th Year Anniversary Contest Week #1. All prizes in this package are now his.

In his own words:

By the way - nener nener! :p

The grand prize will be packaged and sent within a couple days. Again, thank you all for participating in week #1.

Week #1 is now officially closed.

09-08-2008, 08:43 PM
Hahaha, good contest, Sunny. :)

09-09-2008, 03:47 AM
Ok, I was WAAAYYYY too tired last night. Actually fell asleep with the laptop open and on this thread. You guys really had me at your mercy....

Up early for meetings, school all day, then traveling 100 miles one way to attend a National Board meeting - on top of not getting a full night's sleep. Yeah, I was not in any shape to be posting last night!

The only coherent thing I said was "Nener nener!"

09-09-2008, 07:02 AM
I was wondering why you haven't posted in the second contest thread very much yet... heheh.
