my MR2 came with the 12" crap barrel. i found spyders mr series 16" areotwist barrel for a good price and bought that. not to trilled with either. now my backround is rifle and handgun shooting. and yes i realize that paintball is a different animal and i can not expect the same accuracy. ive done a search and seems to be torn down the middle. I like the hammerhead and heard good about the others too. what would you recommend for a woods ball gun. the only time i use it for anything else is if me and my buddy need to settle it one on one in the speed ball coarse, lol thanks guys i know ive been askin alot of questions in the first few days but you guys have alot of good info thanks agian

I think your best bet is to read the link in my sig. Slim and Shady's experiance with..... Once there read about what each have thought about the barrels we have used. I really like the Twister By Empire and the J&J. For CQB I use the JCS xShort with the Apex tip. It is best to read the link as some of the barrels do not fit the MR-2 shroud with out milling. Hope that helps

what are you able to shoot group wise at like 30 yards. or 100'

All three are acurate at the 30 yard mark. I would say that I can unload a whole Q-pod and have them all hit with in a 4 inch circle. I have not done a group test at 100 yards. Hope that Helps

100 yards is a little far unless you have an apex tip for every setup isnt it?

I ment 100 feet (100') but hey you know those 100 yard woods ball shots are there. Im leaning to the hammerhead because it is something that i know and am familiar with.

oh haha ok gotcha, 100 yards is achieveable with an apex, but I was just thinking, man, 100 yards w/out one makes your marker look anti-aircraft. Yeah I've heard some good things about the hammerhead barrels but I've never had the chance to use one

I was thinking feet as well. Did not even notice and I even wrote back with yards.
