i just got a myspace account and i want to search the site for some of my friends. well when i'm logged in, i cant figure out how to find them. when i go to the search thing at the top nad like type their name, all it does is search teh web and i cant change that

Don't use the search bar at the top of the page. Go to "Friends" at the top of page, you should get a drop down menu. Click "Find Friends" and it will take you to the search page where you can search for your friends.
