Hi,
I have a VS2 that has a Smart Parts Max-flow micro ASA. The out put is 800 psi. The mini gauge on the marker is 300psi, now the questions:
1. If I change the 300psi gauge with a 1200 psi one will the VS2 operate normally?
2. Will the increased presure damage the marker?
3. Where can I buy OME parts online for the VS2?
Thanks

well, i'm sure the VS2 can run at 800 psi (unregulated), but yes, you'll need to change the 300psi gauge or it'll break if you try to air it up.
right now, you best bet is to check the b/s/t section for stock parts since a lot of people have upgraded their VS2/3s. or you could spend the extra money on a regulator and adapter and keep the gun running at 300 psi.

DFSniper thanks for the reply... would you recommend getting the VS2 back to it's original configuration or save the money and just buy a new mini gauge?

if you're not going to get a vertical regulator for it, i would try to find a stock one. it'll shoot MUCH more consistently at 300 psi than at 800.

vertical reg and adapter ftw.. i have seen some evil regs for $20 and the adapters for $15 so $35 for the whole setup.. not bad and much better performance.. good luck
