From the looks of everything right now, its off.

Both Matt and I have dropped out. I quit playing paintball for right now to focus on school. I can't afford both right now. Matt had to drop out for personal reasons and I can't blame him. If the remaining guys want to still do something, you guys can, but you are on your own. Maybe we can try to do Northeast Open, but I'm not making any guarantees right now. I'm looking at getting a new job, which will be an extra $200-300 a paycheck. That should get me back in by summer time. Sorry for those who really wanted to play it and were looking forward to it, some things take presedence.

At least school is your priority man! I'm doing the same thing I'm busting my rear trying to figure out a way to pay for classes out of my own pocket and am short some cash. I don't want to sell the Ironmen to pay for it but we'll see...

I kinda thought it was gonna die out also. However, I'm looking at the San Antonio one, and then of course, World Cup...

Now, I just have to fill in June with a tournament from somewhere...

I was hopeful but doubtful... If any southeast guys want to play CFOA this season, give me a holler soon! Trying to get something together...

I wouldn't mind doing the owner's group tourney in CFOA but the stipulation is you have to play with what owner's group your in aka timmy owner's group has to shoot timmies etc. etc. Even though picking up a tricked spyder isn't that hard to do. JB.

So since two guys drop out, that means the whole crew has to drop out. Come on guys.

Put me down as a definite maybe. Depends on a lot of factors, but I definitely want to do this.

Vike, we'll have to hook up in SA, I won't be playing because of the knee, but I'll be there.

Same with me...now that some of the boys want to go to the San Antonio PSP event (closer and cheaper for me) I may or may not be able to attend. I really do want to play in the Chicago one though. I'll know more later.

Sac

if someone can get it all planned out and the cost isnt too outrageous, i'll see if i can still make it.

the only problem im seeing is... alot of us are younger, is it gonna be hard for us to get a hotel? just chubz and fred are of age and there not our gaurdians or anything.

spyderpaintball
12-31-2005, 10:53 AM
Sac ill look into it but i think as long as we have 1 person of age per room we will be fine. Ill run some numbers and see want prices i can come up with.

QAZ123
12-31-2005, 12:01 PM
Hotel room's you have to have somebody 21 to have it under there name or a woman can get them if they are 18.

So you should be good to go sacum's!;)

Since Matt and Shanna are not going anymore I really cant go cause Shanna said I could use Matts new Borg or some other gun cause my imp does have the right kind of board.

Hey JB, if you end up going, we could meet somewhere and ride together and we are both of age so getting rooms would not be a problem.

Yeah your about 11/2 hour's from me and then it would be another 41/2-5 hour drive (which that isn't nothing for me) to Chicago. I can't commit just yet I'm in the process of switching to a new company and I don't know when there vacation time kick's in or how it work's yet. I've already had to cancel out of the first s.e.p.l tourney of the year because of it so it's still up in the air for me!

Here's what I spent for World Cup last season.

Entry - $120? $800 divided by 6 people
Paint - $120
Transportation - 2 tanks of gas, food ~$100
Lodging - We got an awesome deal - two nice 1 bedroom hotel rooms, for $600 TOTAL, for a week - so I paid $100
Food - $100, thats groceries and eating out

Roughly $440, plus what I spent at the event - Another $60, $500 in all.

I'd prepare for $600 just to be safe. Gotta remember, it costs $35 for the ID card too, probably $40 at the event now. It isn't cheap, but any events this year will cost me even more, since I will be able to drink. ;)

I'm now out as well. I keep suffering setback after setback on my rehab. It would take a minor miracle to be ready to play by then.

Sorry guys.
