what is the advantage to a aftermarket bolt? i was looking at the almo city bolts here http://www.alamocitypb.com/MANUFACTPAGES/kingman.html

then i take it the "low blow" one is the one with the minimal kick?

The "Low Blow" is designed so the majority of the air hits the ball at the bottom. This is intended to cause the ball to lift up and exit the barrel while rolling along the top resulting in a backspin somewhat like you get with the Flatline or Apex barrel systems...

I haven't been able to hunt down any info that shows that it does or does not work. To me it is a sound idea, but the effect would be limited I would think with a good paint to barrel match and also by the fact that most barrels have a polished finish of some sort which would likely result in a fair bit of sliding before friction kicked in and the back spin began, while the Flatline has a rougher texture on the top to ensure it imparts a spin to the ball...

Who knows though, someone may have this bolt and be able to call my whole reasoning out as junk =p
