View Full Version : gas through till I get CP?

l just installed trinity's regulator adapter but don't have a CP reg yet.
can l throw my gas-through from my Spyder Imagine on it till l get the CP?
It seems to me that it would work fine cause the VS2's ASA is what acts as its regulator, correct?
I just wanted to make sure so I don't mess up any of my internals.

you'll have to get an adapter so you dont cross-thread the hose end of the gas-through. those are metric threaded, so normal macro fittings won't work.

true, and you will also blow your gauge by overpreasurizing it past the 300 limit, you'll push it up to ~850psi...

no, he's still using the stock reg.

l guess l worded it poorly.
air from my tank is going through the stock asa (which is the Vs2's natural regulator), then through macroline into a gas-through, from a second gen Imagine, which is connected by Trinity's "front block" (the guage, LPC, etc.).
l have it all set up but l haven't put air through it which brings us bck to the beginning.
will it work?
thanks for being patient lol

it'll work, provided you've made sure all your airlines are sealed tight.

they are all tight.
thanks sniper :D

Sorry man! thought you were using an aftermarket asa for some reason! hahaha, ya, as sniper said, it should work, just tighten them, and teflon tape them if they leak...
