Ok, I know college is not in right now, but since I just did this earlier tonight. I just had this craving for mac n cheese with hot dogs which I eat all the time at college. Another one of my favorites Manwhich.

So for everyone who is college or has been, what is your favorite meal?

Taco day!

I'd buy a half dozen tacos and mash it all up into a taco salad and pour salsa on top.

My suggestion, buy a few fringe benefits, but don't overdo it... There's a reason they call it the freshmen 20. ;)

I'm not in college yet, but my sister gets cake mix and mixes it with pop
(if it's a dark cake use dark pop, and if it's a white or light colored cake use white pop) and bakes it. that's all she uses cake mix, pop, and a cake pan

At Case Western last year all I ate were those Ramen noodle things :(.... I never want to see those again.

Freshman 20? It was Freshman 15 when I was in college - you guys need to be careful! :)

Let's see:

Mac n cheese with hot dogs/hamburger/tuna

Ramen noodles with hot dogs/hamburger, tomato sauce and cheese

delivery pizza from Dominoes or Little Ceasar's (cheaper back then than the other ones)

Dairy Queen

KFC left overs (I had a girlfriend who worked there and any food that wasn't sold at the end of the day, she brought it to my house so my roommate and I could eat something different, haha!)

eggs (lots of eggs)

every weekend my senior year I'd make a pan of lasagne and that'd be food all weekend.

Pop Tarts!

LOL! My friend once said, "Beer has food value, but food has no beer value."

well, i get home cooked meals for dinner, but when i'm by myself or if i have time to go home between school and work, i usually grab some spaghettios, campbell's or progresso soup and throw it in the microwave. and breakfast usually consists of toaster strudel or toaster scramblers.

edit: hopps, that reminds me of something a guest speaker once said to my JROTC class about college (he graduated HS a few years before i did): "some days you go to class, and some days you have warm beer and cold pizza for breakfast."

tacos with mac and cheese was pretty good in the college meals I had on my college visits.

Penn State had a sick milk shake maker thing, and i put alot of flavors in that and really like it

I usually just make some basic meals, and put them in "to-go" boxes, then every saturday, unplug the fridge, and dump it into the dumpster. repeat for 56 weeks...ugh
