We have Non-Paintball Topics which is pretty much a dedicated OT section.

i guess.. but you have to start a new thread about whatever it is that you want to discuss... if there was already a thread that was dedicated to whatever wanted to be discussed, i think it would take up less.... how do i say this... less new-threads? if that makes sense.

i've thought about that before. kind of like a Ramble-on-about-everything-and-nothing Therapy thread...

With how its set up now, its much easier to follow everything and you can pick and choose what you want to read. I'm a moderator on PbN in the Ego forum and they go through OTs (2000 posts) at least every other day. It is very hard to follow and there is a lot that you wish you didn't have to read.

We have an "official happy therapy" thread, an "official flame therapy" thread and a non-paintball topics forum. We can post ANY off topic thread in there so there's no need for another official "off topic" thread because 1, there aren't enough people that visit on a daily basis to just throw out off topic garbage posts; 2, not everyone visits all the threads here - many only visit their specific marker forums (such as the MR or the VS forums), and 3, if you have to say something off topic to say to someone, PMs work perfectly well.

Personally, I feel that the OT threads that were spawned from PBN are a total waste of bandwidth - seriously, do you REALLY have to have a thread just to make a post to say that your butt itches?

And really, it's not like this place is teaming with activity. What harm is it for people to be making new threads? There are like 10 new threads a week, if that. If it doesn't fit in the happy or flame thearapy and you REALLY wan't to share it with a bunch of randoms on the internet then by all means post it!

If SOC got any more OT we'd have to talk about paintball.

You know, I blame the education problem in this country entirely on you.
