Any way to change it up so it will use regular 9 volt batteries? I have extra spyder 9.6 v batteries but after playing 2-3 games I have to swap out and then I have to leave them in the gun to recharge its a hassle. My son uses a pcs us5 with e-grip it uses regular 9 volt. So why can't I? Can I change the boards out or anything? I'm not an electrician either so explain in lay terms please....And I'm fairly new to paintball, so again speak english......Thanks for any help.

I don't think that you can use a regular 9V in there. I tried it once and it was a no go. If you swap the board it may be fine. I'm not sure about the board you are speaking about.

You can get a virtue board. they run about $75. It works on a regular 9v battery. In our VS3 we just did the up grade and now the gun is able to do a lot more and it is very sick.
Can a Tadao Board run on a regular 9 Volt?
