I'm going to buy a J&J barrel for my Mr2 and was wondering if this was the one that fits? I just want to make sure before I order so Im not stuck with a barrel that is no good to me.

Thanks alot, just had to make sure. The wife would shoot me if I had to go buy another marker because this wouldn't fit:D .

if its a spyder MR2, then a spyder barrel should fit.

good luck :)

I think that he ment he was worried it it would fit past the shroud or not.

Yeah I had heard that some of the J&J's didn't fit past the shroud and wanted to make sure that this one would.

yea this one's perfect for shrouds.

From what I see on all the pix on here, and how most MR's have JnJs

That looks like the same deal I got and it does not fit the shroud. Look at the close up of the back and notice how much it flares out when compared to the front.

Just ask whoever your buying it from how large the back is if its 7/8 or under your good.

Well hopefully it is the right one as it should be here next week. I could not get a repy from the fellow( same as with most ebay merchants) to find out for sure, that is why I asked on here.:( Guess I should not have been hasty and waited till more people answered my question. If I had seen grubel's reply before I ordered I probably would have waited till the seller did reply to me.

YOu can always get the back milled down heck I even used a hand file and did it myself once.

Yeah, thats what I'll do if it don't fit. I have a bench grinder that as, long as I keep turning the barrel and don't try and take tomuch of at a time so that it gets to hot, should work nicely. Or a freind of mine is a Machineist maybe I'll get him to sneak it into work and do it on a laeth.
Hopefully it will fit then I won't have to do either. I was going to get a barrel adaptor so I can use it on my A5 so did want it scared up.

Just so you know I used a bench grinder for my xShort and I have no problems with it. If you also want to put it on your A5 then I suggest that you take it to a Machinist that way you will get a way nicer finish.

Yeah my friend will do it for nothing so that's the way I will go if it doesn't fit.

The barrel came today and it fits perfectly. Wasn't happy that DHL charged me an additional $16 at the door for a $30 barrel (duty, taxes, brokerage), but price was still cheaper than what I could have bought it here for so I guess I shouldn't complain. One last question though, the barrel didn't come with an o-ring, will I have to buy one or do these barrels not use one?

Yeah DHL is a huge pain in the ass, when I was doing my last gun project for some of the parts i hade to pay more then i did for the actual parts. Usually around 30$ or so.
