It's not a bolt-action but...

OK, so interceptorMR2, you and the empire get all the credit for this idea. I turned my MR1 into a sniper rifle using an old airsoft gun:

I know it's kinda crappy but, I was bored and decided to do it.

So used the body of a Super 9 airsoft rifle and dremeled it to fit my MR1, including a space for the feedneck. Took about 2-1/2 hours to do, so it wasn't too time intensive. Good things happen when you're bored, :).

It still needs some adhesive or another to make it stay in place. It just needs a paint job (can you say tiger stripe?) and possibly make it bolt action somehow.

man, i wish i had that in front of me right now!

here's what you need to do:
1) hollow the stock out so you can slide the body back more.
2) get a spyder single trigger frame (stock, old school kind) and take the m16 grip off
3) line whats left of the grip up with the grip on the stock, so only the trigger and guard shows
4) raise you gun up a little.

it would look almost exactly like a rifle then!

Gotta agree with DFSniper on this.

I was actually thinking of making a bolt action Phantom and putting it in a shell like that. It'd be really easy with the stock class feed tube.
