Is there a way of modding a special ops longbow kit for the MR2? If not, has anyone tried modifying a special ops longbow magazine to a regular feedneck on an MR2? Just wondering if its possible, I am having a hard time finding pictures of how the magazine operates, where it attaches, etc.

IIRC, it mounts on a rail system, much like a pistol. so if you somehow managed to mount a rail at an angle on the side, i think you could get the the holes to line up. on the other hand, i could be completely wrong.

hmm. maybe one of those offsetting picatinny rails that angle off of a marker might work... i would really like to see if it worked, that would make my load much lighter.

or just JBWeld the rails on there?

that would work too, i dont think it would be necessary though. Ive see a few sort of "diagonal" mounted rails, but all you can do is hope they go at the right angle ya kno?

yeah, and you have to keep the magazine pretty close to the body too.

I dont think that it would be to hard to rig something up, if cody goes to the scenario game and uses his longbow i will grab a mag and see about different potential ways for it to work.

ok cool thanks slim, it may be an easier approach for carrying ammo and a heck of alot easier vs the homemade mags because they have the springs already in em lol. its hard to find a soft spring that wont break a paintball.

I agree however this route is alot more money, but at the same time alot more practical as well.
