Have a ton of junk going on $$$-wise and with school... Was at the bank taking care of some cash woes.... Stressed out... Was on my way back thinking about how to manage all the stuff I need to get done this weekend... Lost focus... Saw brakelights 10 feet ahead of me.....

Stress sucks...

OEM VW rack... Ugly, IMO... Was going to take it off, but haven't had the car long enough to get around to it...

oops... well that sucks, but i wont say that maybe this symbolically is showing a "crash" of your life, and maybe you should slow down and pay more attention, you can look back all you want, but if you dont apply what youve learned you are bound to create the same accident again. whether or not it is in a car, irrelivant.

yea, how bout you *not* make your car faster and give more reason forleary road sharers to be afraid for their vehicles? nothing like em-1 master with a fast car that crumples like a hersheys kiss wrapper.

Hardy-har-har... FYI, ~95HP is not enough to get a heavy car like the Jetta going... It almost felt dangerous sometimes getting on the highway, because it had so little pickup... If I wanted to pass someone on the highway, I'd better have had about a quarter mile to do it ;)

Wow, that does really suck. The good thing is you're okay and so is everyone else. I know money problems suck and things like this couldn't happen at a worse time, but there could be worse things. Everything will work out, just keep your head up.

It was a 2001.... And what you saw was the turbo-diesel... I'm not sure exactly how much HP the Jetta had, but.... Yeah... It's gears were narrow as all get out, so you got some acceleration, but crappy top speed and not-so-great milage if you drive fast... And as far as your Maxima goes.... I was going to get one... And ended up getting the Jetta instead.... If this one's totalled, it's very likely that I'll be getting a Maxima... I'll find out tomorrow... If it's totalled, i'll have ~$10k again to get a new car... Maxima is looking like my best choice... May go for a slower Accord though and pocket the rest though... Dunno...

that blows. hardcore. I could suggest a honda civic...Honestly, they are incredibally reliable. Who cares about "upgrading" it...leave it stock. They get phenominal gas milage and like i said before, they are very reliable. You can get a good used civic for somewhere between 5-8grand. Then have some extra for say...college. or something.

Haha I live in Georgia, suckers ;) HOPE Scholarship FTW :)

Maxima > Accord > Civic > *, as far as my choices go right now... Insurance-wise, anyways, that's the order...

yep, shoulda got a truck! that happened to my english teacher. then she decided to get a truck (a honda). i asked her why a honda, and she said it was her honda that kept her from getting in a worse accident...

If she got a Ridgeline, that's not a truck... It's a car with a bed... It's on a car chassis lol definitely not a truck... Honda does a lot of things well, but not trucks...
