Hey Guys/Gals. I just signed up for the forum and wanted to thank everyone here for sharing your knowledge. I have played woodsball a few times and I'm totally hooked. I have been doing research on gear to buy and I have decided to get the MR-1. I have read a lot of the posts on this forum and got a lot of great info. I think I'm on page 14 of the Show Your MR1 thread ;)

Thanks again, hopefully I can contribute to the forum in the future.

Welcome to SOC! Don't worry, in about 6 months to a year you'll have enough experience to help out the new-comers! It took me about 1 1/2 to 2 years just to assimilate the necessary knowledge to actively contribute.

I'm new here and to the sport as well. I'm finding out what a money pit paintball is with all the upgrades and gear. :)

Two MR1s in my family, one for my son and one for me.
I enjoy the site and have learned from it. Thanks.

Welcome to you as well! We're glad to have you!

Money pit? Get ready - the cost of paintball is going up (though not as much as it used to cost.) Coupled with the cost of gas to get to the field - well, I don't see many of the smaller fields making it. But that's a discussion for another thread!
