how do i normalize the volume on my songs?

i use itunes, and i have winamp, but for the most part i am using itunes

my question is, how do i make it so that all the songs have the same volume level. i know i can go through one at a time, but that would take a very very long time. is there some sort of program i can get that will take all my songs and default them all to the same volume level?

Just select all of your items, right click and click on "Get Info".

Really... itunes has that? that's good to know.

then what, if you change the volume adjustment, it makes each song that much louder or quieter. it doesn't make all the songs the same volume level.
