View Full Version : Q-loader drop test

When I drop test the Q-loader pods into a bucket 3 out of the 5 pods all left a ball inside and the other 2 left 3 balls. I do not think this should be normal so does that mean I need ta add more pre-winds?

I've always had that problem, one paintball left per pod. If I open it up and sorta spin the grey spoked plastic piece (at the top of the spring)a certain way, it gets rid of it, sometimes... haha, sorry, can't help very much, I've never bothered much with it. Just try fiddling with the piece I mentioned, or wait until someone smarter than me helps you out :D

It's typical. I'm starting to hate my Q-loader.
Took me an hour to get 2 pods timed and working right. For all the fuss, it's just not worth it.
I'm seriously considering switching to a Reloader 2 and getting the clamping feedneck.

not sure what you mean by timed right? does that have to do with the amount of pre-winds

Thank for the insight and I can live with it also

I ditched mine in favor of a Halo b V35, and yes that is normal for 1 or 2 balls to remain in the pod.

You bet I think that all Q-loaders do that at least both mine do. I still think that the Q-loader is a great loader though and at the moment prefur it to my Halo B with rip and V35.

Still waiting for the RAP 4 adapter (NO HOSE) but have it under the barrel for now. Going to play with it tomorrow. Tested great

Just got back for playing LOVE THE Q-LOADER. Loading is a bit of a pain but I just put the tube on an old viewloader w/lazer and it works. Loading a pod in about 10 sec.

All you have to do to stop the last ball(s) from staying in is put half a wind on before loading balls....problem solved. You can't get as many balls in...but they all come out.
This isn't a pre-wind just a normal wind without balls....put the pod in the loader socket and before you twist/lock it in, give it a wind or half a wind, then lock it in place and load away.
