a woodsball gun or a speedball gun? I'm kinda a newbi.

its whatever you want it to be. most of the people i play with use anything from tippmans to autocockers to minis to shockers during woodsball.

well if you are going to play speedball you are going to have to buy an automatic trigger or a rocker trigger unless you have a very fast trigger finger. i have the new style ts (pretty much the xtra) and i play in a big arena and it works perfect

i am going to use it for speedball. i am going to buy another gun for woodsball. I do have a pretty fast trigger finger. i usally play woodsball.

Those spyders are good for both speedball and woodsball. Period.

Now, if you are going to play in tournaments, I might suggest an electronic trigger and loader, maybe a better regulator, but other than that it's just fine. We won our first tournament with a T1, a broken Tippman (lost the adjuster screw), a mech Esprit (sp?), a Black Magic autococker and a crappy mongoose - goes to show it's the player, not the gun!

I've used an extra for woodsball and speedball. They're great for woodsball (asides from their colors but they make a flat black one now) and in speedball they're awsome as long as you got a fast trigger.
