View Full Version : Finally....Here my new Beaut is...56k BEWARE

....Blue 2k2 Black Magic, all stock except for a few parts I have recently ordered and that lovely Palmers Stabby. I got it for pretty cheap, too...just wont say how cheap because that'd kill resale for me. :D Ah, what the heck....I got it for $30, minus tank and hopper of course. Only problems with it were broken barbs, hoses with holes up the ass all over them, and it was timed so badly I swear the jack**** I got it off of tuned it in the dark without air or instructions. Oh, and the stock bolt looked as if he put sand down the feedneck or in the on/off and shot a full 20oz through it. *shivers violently* Now that those problems have been fixed....I have a Dye UL on it's way, and am looking around for some various other parts. This gun actually works quite well as-is, just needs some more tuning because I have it running slighly hot (only about 350fps :D) and have already accidently shot someone with it. I keep forgetting that I can't see the balls in the chamber by looking down the feedneck, so when I look, I see nothing and shoot at the sucker. He got lucky and the ReBall barely missed his nuts. ;)

Anyways, enough with my banter, here's the pics:

When I first got it:

After some tinkering (new D/F, ram, bolt, hoses):

i love black magics

I am working on it, JB. One step at a time for me, unfortunately. Going CP 2k5 I think, possibly direct mount so I wont have to pick up a rail as well.

Katt, I know what you mean. Took me forever to figure out what body it was (the jackoff didn't even know what the regulator type was, and it has it's name on there!) and once I did I was like "WOW." The thing I love about this is it has a threaded feedneck, unlike most 2k2s. Saves me another $25.

Pics of the bolt (CCM delrin modded by a very bored Chubbz, very well done if I might say so myself! Only difference is now it's polished, my camera wont take focused pix of it so no new ones....): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/chubb0rz/Eblade/ccmbolt001.jpg

if you ever want to sell it, give me a heads up, the only cocker i'd ever own

I'll keep that in mind. I think I'm gonna keep this one, though. I am in love with it already, and I can't wait to try it out on Sunday.

Dude i have been looking for a black magic forever... I found a green/black fade on ebay and it went for over 250 stock. If you decide to get rid of it and katt doesn't have the cash or w/e you want for it.. let me know ill be glad to take it off your hands.

Nice gat, i don't personally like the color but it shows off the milling more then any other color scheme they offered.

Meh, the blue doesn't really do it for me, but I like it anyways. Was thinking of getting it annoed 'till I looked at the cost and decided to up it instead.

Was that BlackMagic new? This one would probably sell for about $150-250 on PBN as-is, depending on the intelligence of the buyer.

I guess I'll add you to the list of bidders as well LOL.

nice gun :) ... did you get the timing correct yet ??

02-24-2006, 04:45 PM
You got it for $30? I hate you! Give it to me!

nice gun :) ... did you get the timing correct yet ??
Almost. Just a wee bit off, but because of some complications (damn macro and micro line leaks) I ran out of air really quickly, so it's pretty close, but not up to its full potential still.

And Phil, yes, it was $30. It was either this gun or go playing that weekend. The choice is evident. :D

Pump it!

02-24-2006, 10:52 PM
I was actually thinking of getting a pump kit for it and keeping the pnuems as well so I could go back and forth, but seeing as that is a bit pricey, I dunno how well that thought will work out. :(

02-25-2006, 12:22 AM
pricey? wasnt it like 30$? lol

spend the extra 100$ you saved on that cocker for a CCM pump kit. A clear pump handle would go really nice with it.

02-25-2006, 05:29 AM
for gods sake get HPA!!!

02-25-2006, 10:06 AM
It's pricey because I don't get a lot of money, and that was my last $30 for a while. If it was full price I would have had to pass on it or "borrow" some money, but at $30 it was perfect. I may get a CCM, but I think I'd be fine with a WGP kit...I don't need a fancy kit, just something to dink around with if I chose to.

Oh hush, Moo. I have HPA, I just choose not to use it on that marker in favor of CO2 because it is A.) cheaper, B.) easier to get, and C.) it can handle it just as well as HPA, the only difference is my freezing fingers on the reg (notice the Palmers Stabby....).

Nice Tim, I like it. Now you just need to get it bladed. I always liked those NW drops, always wanted one myself.
