Hey I'm new to the forum, and was looking to upgrade my loader from a Diablo TSA LCD frontman to something quicker, but not to expensive. any suggestions? Thanks

Halo/Reloader B. Both are decently priced used ($50-75 in good condition) and feed fast.

Eggy III's are 55 brand new and look really nice too.

Halo/Reloader B.

They have been the industry standard of fast hoppers for half a decade, after they replaced the Eggy.

I like to VLs Evolution, but the Lids on them seem to break pretty easy from what I hear. Is that true?

Not the lids, the battery doors. The door assembly slides on two skinny ass plastic pins, which during normal use over time get torn off, making you buy another battery door or ductape the sucker to your hopper. Also, the feed rate is very inconsistent, as it does not have any spring tension (force) on the ball stack and the delay from that makes it slower.

Iv used my acouple of times but if it was to ever break, I'd just make a speedfeed for it

Hmm yes.

User error mostly.

The halo's are compatible with like 4 different kinds of speed feeds. Its up to you, u can find a decent one on the nation's hopper FS section. IMO the halo looks better, and I have both. The egg never fails me either and holds a little more paint but they look goofy on some markers. lol

User error VS normal wear and tear, homeboy. ;) It took a year for mine to break, but it did and I just drilled it out and replaced the stock plastic crap with a metal pin. Hasn't broken on me since, and that was a few years ago. It also looks as funky as **** on any of my guns (and you know I own a bunch!).

My Halo, on the other hand... never had inconsistent feeding, never had a part break, never had it look funky on a gun, and never had any severe issues with it except batteries (I tend to accidentally leave them in).

I like my Halo but if your tight on cash then the Egg is a good choice, also the battery life on the Eggs last a very long time.

vlocity's are the best if you ask me.

I have a Halo with rip drive and speed feed and a stock Vlocity Jr, the only thing I don't like about the Vlocity is that the battery life sucks but all and all I think I like the Jr a little more.

The VLocity JR is an AMAZING hopper with a chip, especially a Gangstar (what I have, of course!). It's a little out of his budget though, I think....

Yup I have the jr and i think its the best one of all the vlocitys. My bro has the xsv but the clock spring is super fragile. I got mine for 50 bucks used but with no scratches. It so easy to get good deals from ripping dumb little spoiled kids off here in Guatemala.:D

Guatemala + paintball?

You guys got local paintball shops or all the stuff there is ordered online?

:D Yup there are 2 pro shops in the country and 1 of them is at the field that I play at. The selection is very limited, they only sell eclipse clothes and basic stuff like squeegees(however you spell it) and other really basic stuff. Markers they only sell minis, spyders and they brought 4 g3's in this weekend.

The problem is they doesnt sell regs, feednecks, asa's, barrels or anthing like that. So everything ive gotten on my spyder Ive had to order and my pm8 I got online and it takes along time to get here. Pus I have to bring it in through the p.o. box and the Guatamalan aduana charges taxes so everything is way more expensive.

there arent man of us ballers down here(unfortunatley), Id say theres less then 70 people who really dedicate themselves to this awesome sport. So we are triyng to grow this sport down here, I like to say that its still in diapers. Hopefully we will get more players involved and serious down here since its such a great sport.:D

Thats great. Don't wanna get too off-topic, but I'm nicaraguense born and raised in Miami.

Its good that this is an international sport, cause for sure my family will be like wtf is this?

btw you type good english.

I have the FASTA 18V and I love it. I had a Halo w/ a rip drive and the FASTA blows it away. I have never had a jam on my FASTA.

bigred76

Pfft, come on. 23bps with a Zeggy? They're too inconsistent and you're more likely going to get only 18bps or so. The Reloader B used is your best option overall.
