I have to say, Headrush is an interesting place. The NYPL (New York Paintball League) there was overall a GREAT experience.
The players treated eachother with respect (at least they did to us for the most part), the ref's were ACTUALLY DOING THEIR JOBS , and the overall way the tourney was run was excellent.
The only downside of it was the turf... They called it astro turf, but it was hard. It felt like sliding on a sticky paint filled carpet over concrete... It hurt A LOT and my knees and back are paying for it today.
I got bonus balled to **** once... this one semi retarded kid just kept shooting me as I was on the sideline walking off... that pissed me off, but it only happened once.

I got shot 5 time in the exact same spot at 300FPS and it caused a nasty puss lump to form and start bleeding... that was probably the worst of it all.
(Pic will be up in a sec)
I'll put gameplay pics up as soon as they upload them on their site. We made it to finals and finished in 5th place.
I think the best part was having the #1 team (whom we beat one round) come up to me and say, "this team was laughing at us because we lost to a pump team... I told them that it was an honor to lose to such a good pump team. If you guys had semi's, you would win this tournament." He then shook my hand.
The paint was official X-ball grade paint... the kind that's really chalky and doesn't come off. Anti-wipe someone called it. Haha. That stuff sucked and got everywhere.
The respect and props we got for playing pump and the attitudes all around are what I started playing paintball with. I missed it and it was nice to get away from all the spoiled little kids with their parents bought Vicious Ego8's.
