actionvillage maybe? they sit on tanks a lot. My friend was stupid and bought a 91ci dye tank and it's hydro was like 2 years out. He returned it because it was too big (like i said it would be)

You need to return that and then get another... that hydro is not too far off! Say that the reason is that it is too large, and get yourself a 68/45.

Whats the E-DOT number on it? You can check on www.hydrotester.com to see if your tank is a 3 or 5 year tank using your E-DOT number.

Here is the direct link to the E-DOT chart:

It is a CF. That's just how dark Fuel tanks' epoxy is.

i think what i might do is ill get it hydro'd after i get some money, but i cant send it back because ive got a big game coming up soon and i dont want anything to worry about.. but yea just to clarify, its an empire fuel CF 71/45 that i bought from ANSgear.com. the tank is NOT too big, its actually very nice, very very lightweight.

but another question: When i took the tank out of the box, the reg was loose.. i twisted it back on nice and tight, will i have problems? :(

i'm gonna say yes. it should have loc-tite on it, right?

NO! Don't use Loctite. C02 tanks, yes(red).....HPA tanks, no(just screw it on tight). Once filled with 4500psi, there's nothing going to screw the reg from the tank lol -

That sure does resemble a 68/4500 to me. Usually the 70/72's are stubby's.....hmmmmmm -

I was going to say, that's about the size of a 68 in length... no?

I loctited my old Air America with blue. This current JAVA one is fine... hasn't unscrewed on me.

its just about a 68ish. its supposed to be a 71 but idk. I think it is because i put it next to my 72 3k and it was similar in size
