Ok so i decided to halfback my Pilot and when i aired it up it was leaking from the barrel, so i cocked it and at first it was shooting fine but then it started leaking from the front of the bolt. I took the bolt out and lubed all the o rings but it still did the same thing. So why would my gun be leaking? Could i have cut it back to far?

leaks out the barrel are a bad cupseal.

And leaking out the front of the bolt?...as in...out the barrel? or out the back of the half-blocking?

The only reason it should leak out the half-backing would be because you cut it too far and the ORings stick out of the top tube or the bolt ORings are bad.

If out the barrel...see cupseal.
If out the half-backing, get another set of bolt Orings.,,or another bolt with 2 ORings - one on either side of the bolt flow-hole.

It's also possible that if you cut too much off the top tube, the bolt's not sitting in the tube squarely - like it's tilted or something. If that being the case, I doubt there's a fix for that.

When cocked it leaks from the area by the feedneck. Also I can move the bolt side ways a little but when its gassed up I moved the bolt and it didn't seen to slow the leak down.
