SFT threads = "Shocker" threads, works on SFT Shockers only.
Imp/Ion threads = "Smart Parts" threads, works NXT Shockers, all Ions, Impulses, Nerves, Vibe, SP1, Eos, Epiphany, etc...

what i could do is, buy the kit and then buy a barrel adapter. shocker-ion :D
