View Full Version : Empire B on my RS

Well I decided to get a better hopper before I get a better feed neck. Has anyone used the Empire B hopper on the stock RS feedneck? I just would like to know how much sanding is needed to get the feedneck on the hopper is needed.

I run a VS 2 and a halo-B V35no sanding req. with stock feed neck.

Ya, but I heard the Empire B has a fatty feed neck that requires a lot of sanding.

I don't have an RS, but I've never had to sand my Reloader B feedneck, nor have any of my teammates. Now, I DID have to sand my Eggy feedneck long time ago, but never my Reloader B. Since Reloader B's and Halos use the same bodies, if a halo fits, it shouldn't be an issue.

Just try it, and if it doesn't fit - there's an excuse to upgrade!

Thanks for the info. An excuse to upgrade can be bad though, just spent 311$ :p I need to get a summer job soon.

Hahaha, I hear ya!

I just dumped a bit of cash into a project - and I don't even have a field to play on anymore!

I have a field that is about a 10 minute drive away. 4 acre woodsball field. There are a few game types, and occasionally we do a version of speedball.

So when you say no field, do you mean no field within 30 minutes or so? Or just no field period.

No field whatsoever. Our field for the past 5 years shut down today. Next closest field is a 3 hour drive one way in any direction...

Guess I'll have to find the outlaw ballers around here now!

I also have another question. Do you guys think it was a good idea to buy the RS as my second marker? I only had 320$ and I bought the RS and the Empire. The field I go to only has compressed air, and the RSX would have cost too much especially if I had to buy a better hopper.

The RS aint a bad marker for a second gun. I wish I'd have had the options you do when I was first starting... The RS is definitely a good choice for any intermediate player that is familiar with Spyders.
