kind of a dumb question but i'm new to the paintball scene, i noticed the vs2 and 3 have a gauge mounted on them, i own a vs1, is adding a gauge neccessary? am i supposed to be regulating the psi that runs through the marker to a certain psi? i just got my vs1 i bought the tadao board and electric hopper when i bought it any info is appreciated

welcome to the forums!

you mainly use a gauge when your using compressed air to adjust the pressure so your gun will use up less air or raise the velocity. its not that big of a thing if your using co2. i wouldnt get one if i were you unless you want your gun to be at a specific psi

not nessasary, your marker was ment to run on Co2= much higher psi
VS2&3 are low pessure compressed air(nitrgen) only at about250psi

if i did want to mount one with a regulator do i have to tap a hole to fit it or do they sell something so that no drilling would be neccessary?

EDIT: ok, i consulted the manual and im not sure but you might be able to fit a trinity front block in there. and i bet you can get a VS1 to run at 300ish psi because the valves look the same as the SE valves, if not the same thing, eith the front block having a bigger port on it it wold allow more air flow so a little bit lower pressure, but im not evensure it will fit

thanks, im gonna stick to co2 so i really wouldnt need one like mentioned before,

Just scanning over this thread, you could drill & tap a hole in you VA for a gauge if you didnt want to buy a reg & other odd ball parts. Otter has a how-to guide IIRC.
